phpbb sneller maken

ik heb al een hoop mods op mijn forum staan (zie show off), en dan hapert er natuurlijk wel iets aan de snelheid. daarom ben ik nu verschillende stukken aan het wegknippen.
Weet er iemand welke stukjes je zonder problemen kan wegsnijden, en die normaal geen probleem kunnen veroorzaken?
Ik heb maar 1 taal geinstalleerd, dus is het misschien handig voor de snelheid indien ik de lang_admin leeg maak, en al die variabelen vervang?
dan kan bvb al die:
dingen weg, en kan ik in de .tpl files de correcte naamgeving direct gebruiken...
of maakt dit niet veel uit voor de snelheid en page load? (we zitten aan zo'n 25 gig per maand trafiek :s)
concreet zou ik bvb het volgende willen verwijderen in viewtopic.php, aangezien toch niemand anoniem post:
