CSS uit header halen?

Hoeveel scheelt dit qua snelheid? Ik neem aan dat het niet uitmaakt of het in een css bestand staat of dat uit de database word gehaald?

Wie kan mij hier wat meer over vertellen

Jawel hoor, lees dit stukje maar eens Het Lab:

hetlab.tk schreef:Als u het verwijdert, heeft u na afloop een bestand van slechts 3.362 bytes (in Windows, onder Linux zal het iets minder zijn). Dat scheelt maar liefst 8.043 bytes per opgevraagde pagina! Voortaan wordt slechts één keer per sessie het stijlsheet testthema.css opgevraagd à 7.234 bytes. Op een druk bezocht forum met zeg een miljoen bekeken forumpagina's per maand, scheelt dit dus al snel 8 GiB aan dataverkeer. En zoals we zo dadelijk zullen zien, kan er nog veel meer luxe uit de pagina's gesloopt worden. Als u het aanpassen niet voor een andere skin doet, is het toch de moeiet waard om de boel eens langs te lopen!

Alleen opent ie nu de plaatjes (cellpics enz.) niet meer en mis ik alle border lijntjes op mijn forum. Lettertype formaten kloppen weer wel.

Kan iemand mijn vertellen wat er fout zit in mijn subsilver.css? Kan niet vinden wat er niet klopt

Je had het niet in subSilver.css hoeven plaatsen het stond er automatisch al goed in.

Dat heb ik idd gedaan in overall_header.tpl?
Maar sommige dingen pakt hij gewoon niet uit de css file.

als je nu een modded style heb die alles in overall_header heeft.
moet ik dan gewoon alles uit overall_header.tlp copy doen en weer in mijn CSS file zetten?

No prob. Kickjes zijn altijd fijn

Ik weet nu zeker dat hij alles uit de css haalt alleen sommige dingen gebruikt hij niet.

Welke CSS goeroe ziet de fouten bij mijn css file? Of mischien kan iemand zijn css bestand posten zodat ik die kan vergelijken?

templates/subSilver/

moet je weglaten, je moet nu alle plaatjes relatief van de stylesheet linken, ipv relatief van de pagina.

Als ej die css weghaalt en die van eht lab erneer zet word alles zwart aan de onderkant

Beetje stom dat ik daar zelf niet aan dacht

Nog een laatste probleem. Ik geef in mijn .forumline class aan dat het randje om mijn forum deze kleur moet hebben: 55798C

Het lag aan het hekje. Verder staat er in het css file nergens een hekje voor een kleur?
