Ik wou dit forum: http://members.lycos.nl/tyger70/forum/ updaten naar phpbb plus maar ik heb geen idee hoe je een forum moet updaten?

Kan iemand me dat uitleggen in simpele stappen?

In principe is dit niet zo heel moeilijk.
Je moet eerst die PhpBB Plus downloaden en daar goed de readme van lezen.
Dan moet je de files uploaden (vergeet niet eerst een backup te maken!) en daarna een installatie-script uitvoeren.

Ow... Dus als je die files hebt geupload dan ga je naar install.php en inplaats van install kies je update?

Dat zal waarschijnlijk allemaal duidelijk in de readme staan.
Aangezien ik PhpBB plus niet (goed) ken, kan ik je er verder ook niet mee helpen.

Voor alle informatie kan je het beste het volgende goed doorlezen. Het komt uit de readme van PhpBB plus:

Finally, how to install phpBB2Plus:

You have three options, all started by running
install_plus.php

UPGRADE:
--------

If you want to upgrade from an older phpBBPlus,
be sure you are running Version 2.1x. If not,
you should update your phpBB 1.4.4 Plus Version
to 2.10 (or higher) first.

To run the upgrade copy all files from the archive
to a new directory. Then you have to copy a few
files from the old board:

table_config.php as plus_table_config.php
config.php as plus_config.php
version.inc.php as version.inc.php

to the installation-directory!

Don't mind that the installation script will
take you partly to the original install-script
of phpBB2. It has been the easiest way to setup
the new board... .

So simply follow the instructions!

UPDATE:
-------

If you have already installed phpBB 2.0.2, you
might want to update to Plus 2.21 to have all
the nice additions with you.

For this case, overwrite all files from your
installation with the ones from this archive
EXECPT the config.php. We need that from your
installation!!

Run the script than and follow the instructions!

NEW INSTALLATION:
-----------------

So this is your first board or you simply want
to install a new phpBB 2.0.2 Plus 2.21.

Well, nothing easier than that, simply extract
all files from this archive and upload them to
your server. Then run install_plus.php and
follow the instructions. Basically it is like
you install phpBB 2.0.2 first and then run the
update to Plus. Should be done in a minute.

FINISHED:
---------

If everything went succesfull, you might now
clean your directory of all files with

install*.php
upgrade*.php
update*.php

they should not be needed anymore and will
keep other people from changing your board!
